About the Author
B.R. Ambedkar (1891-1956) was born to Bhimabai Sakpal and Ramji in Mhow, MP. He was an eminent politician and jurist. Ambedkar’s efforts to eradicate the social evils like untouchability and casteism were remarkable. He fought for the rights of the dalits and socially backward classes. He served as India’s first Law Minister and was the architect of India’s Constitution.
