    About Najma Perveen Ahmad
     
    Professor, former Head and Dean of the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts, University of Delhi; is a scholar, a teacher and a vocalist of Hindustani classical music. She has been deeply involved in research on musicology especially in the study of the Urdu and Persian manuscripts on Hindustani music belonging to the medieval period.
